45-minute video installation and photographs; 2010; funded by a "Know Indiana" grant, from the Lilly Foundation
This grant funded assistants to create an abstract narrative video that combined historic, ecological, fictional, and mythical aspects of regional history. References include the myth of where Lew Wallace wrote Ben Hur; short stories by Jessamyn West; and the fictional and naturalist works of Gene Stratton-Porter. Shooting locations include the Shades State Park, the old school house in Rockville, Indiana, and the Caleb Mills historic house.
